Palm Harbor, FL (March 29, 2012) – Rep. Gus Bilirakis (FL-09) will attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Palm Harbor 9/11 Memorial at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 30, at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, 1750 Curlew Road, in Palm Harbor.
At the ceremony, Bilirakis will speak and present a flag that was flown over the U.S. Capitol.

The Palm Harbor Fire Department received a piece of a steel beam from the World Trade Center over one year ago, and the memorial design will consist of two 10-foot-tall granite towers, the beam, and an eternal flame.
