Media Advisory: Rep. Bilirakis to Host Employment Fair on Aug. 14

New Port Richey, FL (August 1, 2012) – As part of his ongoing effort to provide meaningful employment opportunities to his constituents in the Tampa Bay area, Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-Palm Harbor), is hosting another Employment Fair on August 14, 2012, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Spartan Manor in New Port Richey.

"While we must continue to work to create a stable economic environment which facilitates growth, I host these regular employment fairs as a means of putting those seeking work in touch with employers in the Tampa Bay area," Bilirakis said.

The House of Representatives has passed more than 30 pieces of legislation that would help the private sector create jobs, which are now awaiting action in the Senate. The House continues working to reduce the regulatory and tax burden for small businesses to encourage growth and investment, and is working to prevent tax hikes that would cost hundreds of thousands of American jobs.
