Independent, Nonpartisan Report: President's Health Law Uses Taxpayer Dollars for Abortion Coverage

"Five years ago, the President spoke before Congress about his health care law and said ‘under our plan, no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions, and federal conscience laws will remain in place.' Like so many other things in the President's health care law, it turns out this statement is just another broken promise. Republicans and Democrats have come together for years, believing that taxpayer dollars should not fund elective abortion. This is another example of the President's disregard for taxpayer dollars and provisions in his own signature piece of legislation."
