Bilirakis Once Again Named Florida’s Most Bipartisan Congressman

-Ranked 27th Overall in House of Representatives-

Washington, DC:  Congressman Gus Bilirakis has just been listed as one of the most bipartisan members of Congress for the most recent legislative session, according to the newest Lugar Center Bipartisan Index rankings. With an overall ranking of 27th out of 435 Members of Congress, Bilirakis led the Florida Congressional Delegation in the House with the highest score for bipartisanship. The Lugar Center, led by former U.S. Senator Richard Lugar, measures the degree to which Senators and Representatives work across party lines. Its bipartisan index has ranked each Member of Congress since 1993. Click here to see each Member’s most recent score and ranking.

“I understand my constituents want their leaders to work together to do what is right for our country and the communities we serve. They are tired of partisanship and bickering, which is why I will continue to reach across the aisle to build consensus around common sense solutions to the challenges facing American families,” said Congressman Gus Bilirakis. “Progress is only possible when we are willing to cooperate with one another and prioritize the needs of our constituents. That is how I will continue to approach my work.”
