Gus highlights national security, emergency preparedness on 970 WFLA
On Sunday, Gus joined the Frank Wuco show on 970 WFLA to discuss pertinent national security and emergency preparedness issues. Gus addressed his Student Visa Security Improvement Act, which would ensure that foreign students are abiding by the terms of their visas. He also talked about Fast & Furious, a botched gun-walking program, and discussed the Obama administration's plans to provide sensitive information about Osama bin Laden's killing to Hollywood movie makers.
September is National Preparedness Month, and as Chairman of the Emergency Preparedness, Response and Communications Subcommittee, Gus also talked about the importance of being prepared for whatever kind fo disasters the country may face.
