Washington, DC
In the Washington, DC office, internships run throughout the fall, spring or summer semesters for college students. Although all internships in all offices are unpaid, students gain invaluable work experience. The hours are flexible to accommodate students' hectic course schedules, but generally run 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. when Congress is in session, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when not in session.

Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Service Academies. As your 12th District Representative in the U.S. House, each year I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of people to four of the five service academies (to attend the Coast Guard Academy, students need to apply directly to the Academy). The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
