Gus Hosts Hillsborough County College Fair on April 19

Determining the next step for your child after high school graduation can be difficult for both parents and students alike. Simply navigating the admissions and student financial aid process can make an already anxious situation even more complicated. As a father of four children, Gus understands how stressful this time can be, but examining your options early on can ensure that your child receives the opportunity and quality education he or she deserves.

That is why Gus encourages you and your child to attend the Hillsborough County College Fair he is hosting in conjunction with the Hillsborough County Public School system. The event will act as a one-stop shop for students and parents to learn more about financial aid resources, the college admissions process, and to speak with school representatives face-to-face.

The college fair will feature representatives from regional colleges, local career education and technical training schools, and military service academies. In addition, the fair will include breakout sessions with admissions officers from the University of Florida, financial aid experts from the University of South Florida, and representatives from the service academies.

The Hillsborough County College Fair will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Strawberry Crest High School located at 4691 Gallagher Road, Dover, Florida 33527 (Just off Interstate 4, Exit 14). The College Fair will be held in the cafeteria from 6-8 p.m. with breakout sessions throughout the evening.
