Bilirakis Applauds House Passage of Mental Health Reform Bill

The U.S. House of Representatives today advanced legislation to reform the nation's failing mental health care system.

H.R. 2646, the Helping Families in Mental Health Crisis Act, legislation Congressman Gus Bilirakis (FL-12) co-sponsored, passed by a vote of 422-2.

"This legislation will bring about the most significant reforms to our mental health care system in decades," said Congressman Bilirakis. "I am proud my colleagues and I worked in a bipartisan manner to gather input from our local communities and bring about these meaningful reforms.
