Bilirakis Continues Oversight of FCC

The Energy and Commerce Committee Subcommittee on Communications and Technology today held a hearing to conduct oversight of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Members heard from all five FCC Commissioners to receive an update on crucial programs, privacy rules, reform efforts, and more.

"We continue to work towards a more transparent and accountable FCC," said Congressman Bilirakis. "We must bring about reforms to ensure the FCC rules are clear and consistent. These regular updates help us to determine ways to improve the FCC to better protect consumers and their privacy, encourage innovation, and ultimately help boost our economy."
