Bilirakis to Hold 9th Annual Veterans Fair
Washington, D.C. – On Saturday, March 14, from 11 am – 2 pm, Congressman Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) will be hosting his Annual Veterans Resource Fair, which will provide important information and services for Veterans and their families in the 12th Congressional District.
"Veterans have given so much to our country - it is only right that we give back," Bilirakis said. "I am proud to host our 9th Annual Veterans Resource Fair. This event will be a one-stop shop for our Veterans, providing them with access to a variety of available services and resources. These services include: medical care, assistance with their disability claims or education benefits, and employment information."
Following the resource fair, from 11 am – 1 pm, the Congressman invites you to join him for a short patriotic program from 1pm – 2pm, hosted by Frank Wuco, Commander, USN, (Ret.), which will include a performance by the Hudson Middle School Jazz Band. Additionally, the program will feature guest speaker Eddie Ko. During the Korean War, Mr. Ko was part of the Student Volunteer Army, an anti-communist group of 12 teenage spies headed by a South Korean officer. He was tasked with gathering information on the North Korean Army, and providing it to the American Armed Forces.
The fair will be held at River Ridge High School, at 11646 Town Center Road, in New Port Richey, Florida, 34654.
