Bilirakis: Latest Obamacare Delay Proof of Fundamental Flaws
"The latest delay of the open enrollment period is further proof of Obamacare's fundamental flaws. In December, Kathleen Sebelius promised there would be no more delays. Yet, here we are, hardly three months later, and the open enrollment period is being delayed," commented Bilirakis. "Each time President Obama and his Administration make major changes through executive action to his signature legislation, they are admitting Obamacare does not work. This latest delay represents the 21st time the Administration has delayed or changed its own law."
"There is a reason the enrollment period was extended; people are not signing up. The lack of enrollment is no mystery either; the American people do not like and do not want this law," Bilirakis continued. "I am committed to a repeal and replacement of Obamacare. I am committed to health care reforms that embrace free market principles, keep costs low and increases access, and will not cut health care for seniors to pay for others. Americans deserve better."
