Bilirakis Statement on CMS' Decision to Reverse Some Cuts to Medicare Advantage

"I am encouraged by CMS' willingness to take the concerns of Medicare beneficiaries and Members of Congress to heart, appropriately reversing some of the proposed cuts to the Medicare Advantage program. However, the battle to protect coverage for our seniors is far from over. Under the Affordable Care Act, seniors pay more, get less and lose options. Now, more than ever, we must protect our most vulnerable populations, including the more than 14 million Americans who like and want to continue to be enrolled in Medicare Advantage."
