Bilirakis Statement on Corporation for National and Community Service OIG Report

Congressman Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) released the following statement regarding the Corporation for National and Community Service OIG report:

"The reports released this week are troubling to say the least. AmeriCorps members participating in Community HealthCorps programs to assist in abortion-related procedures is not only unethical, it is illegal. It is completely unacceptable that our taxpayer dollars were used in this manner. This blatant disregard for our nation's law and values is unsettling and as this investigation continues, I will continue to fight for the rights of the unborn, and protect the integrity of U.S. taxpayers."
