Congressman Bilirakis Announces Veterans' Town Hall

"I have spent the past several years fighting for a new consolidated clinic in Pasco county. Our Veterans deserve the absolute best healthcare possible, and consolidation of the five VA clinics will enhance the accessibility to a centralized and convenient point of care," Bilirakis said. "Although the final decision on the location remains in the hands of the VA, I feel it is my duty to solicit opinions from Veterans and their families within our communities. This clinic is for them, and their considerations should be taken into account; that is why I am holding this town hall."

The new VA clinic for Pasco county was included in the passage of the Conference report to H.R. 3230, which was later signed into law by the President.
