“This legislation will bring about necessary reforms to the VA disability appeals process and will provide Secretary McDonald additional authority to hold poor performing employees accountable,” said Congressman Bilirakis. “I am proud my colleagues and I worked together to implement ideas from local Veterans and Veterans Service Organizations to ensure we honor our commitment to our nation’s heroes. We must ensure decisions are made in a timely manner and that our Veterans receive the compensation to which they are due.”
