House Passes Bilirakis Bill to Honor Hometown Hero

The U.S. House of Representatives today advanced legislation to help honor a local hero. H.R. 3953, Congressman Gus Bilirakis's legislation to designate the Elfer's post office as the "Private First Class Felton Roger Fussell Memorial Post Office," was passed by voice vote.

"I am proud to help honor this American hero, and his family, with this legislation," said Congressman Bilirakis. "Private Fussell served our great nation with honor. His acts of valor and heroic conduct during an armed conflict earned him several awards. It is clearly fitting to designate his hometown post office in Elfers, Florida in his honor, and I am proud the House advanced this bill today."
