REMINDER: Bilirakis Announces Two Identity Theft Prevention Fairs
Washington, D.C. – Representative Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) is pleased to announce two free Identity Theft Prevention Fairs on November 10. Both sessions will cover the same material.
"From online shopping to depositing checks on your smart phone, the world is becoming increasingly digital. Unfortunately, identity theft is becoming more and more common, especially in the digital age. It is important that you protect yourself and your identity. I am pleased to hold two separate Identity Theft Prevention Fairs. You are never too old or too young to start taking steps to proactively protect yourself from identity theft," Bilirakis said.
Both sessions will also include representatives from:
- Urban E Recycling, who recycle computers, cell phones, laptops and other electronics; and
- Proshred, who specialize in secure shredding services and document destruction.
Attendees can have their sensitive documents shredded or electronics recycled at no charge.
