| PALM HARBOR, Fla. (20 Jun.) - U.S. Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-Fla.), today announced that entertainer and veterans advocate Tony Orlando will attend the Veterans' Benefits Resource Fair, which will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2007 between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, Fla. All veterans (past, present and future), their families and friends are welcome to attend this event. A longtime advocate for our nation's veterans, Tony Orlando will be joined by several military and veterans officials who will be on hand to discuss a myriad of services, benefits and information for veterans and their families. Some informational topics include medical/dental care, veterans' claims and services, education benefits, job placement/employment services, housing and social services. This event is open to the media. Photo opportunities include military hardware on display, and paratroopers, a military fly-over, local JROTC drill team, and color and honor guard presentations are expected. | |
