Washington, DC: Congressman Bilirakis was honored to partner with Dr. George Sigounas, Administrator of the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), to host members of the Tampa Bay health care community for a targeted discussion about how the quality of patient care can be improved through the programs over which HRSA has jurisdiction.
Washington DC: The short-term spending bill that is now on its way to the President's desk to become law will extend the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) for the next six years. CHIP insures 9 million children throughout the country. A provision authored by Congressman Bilirakis, the CHIP Buy-In program, also made it into the final spending bill.
