Washington, DC – Today, Representatives Gus Bilirakis (R-FL012), Lois Frankel (D-FL-21), Joe Wilson (R-SC-02), Ted Deutch (D-FL-22), and Jim McGovern (D-MA-02) introduced a bipartisan bill to award Benjamin Ferencz—the last living Nuremberg prosecutor— with a Congressional Gold Medal on the anniversary of the Nuremberg Trials. During WWII, Ferencz served in the U.S. Army and helped collect evidence of Nazi war crimes.

Washington, D.C. Earlier today, five Bilirakis-authored bills were reported favorably out of the Energy and Commerce Committee. These bills now head to the House Floor for final passage. "With so much dysfunction taking place in Washington lately, it is refreshing to see commonsense bipartisan solutions moving forward," said Congressman Bilirakis.

The Senate version of the legislation is led by Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) and Senator Susan Collins (R-ME).

Washington, DC: Earlier today, Congressman Gus Bilirakis took to the House Floor to condemn the Biden Border Crisis and to urge his colleagues to abandon the radical policies that are fueling the historic onslaught of illegal border crossings. Since President Biden took office, there have been over 1.4 million illegal border crossings. These record-high apprehensions keep increasing, with no end in sight.
