"During the holidays, there are many families throughout the Tampa Bay area who may need a little extra help getting food on the table," said Bilirakis. "Florida is blessed to have an abundant agricultural industry, and I am honored to be able to work with Farm Share to get this nutritious, healthy food into the hands of families who need it most."
All needy families are welcome to attend. Media should contact Sarah Criser, (202) 225-5755, to RSVP and for more information.
"The tab for Obamacare's risk corridors will ultimately be passed down to U.S. taxpayers," Bilirakis said. "It is unacceptable for the Administration to promulgate a rule without knowing the cost that will result. Furthermore, it's irresponsible to put taxpayers on the hook for insurance company losses in the Exchange."

Bilirakis, who is a member of the International Religious Freedom Caucus, has been a strong advocate of religious freedom for all faiths throughout his tenure in Congress. In recent years, he has led multiple efforts to prevent the Egyptian military from using U.S. taxpayer dollars to persecute and attack thousands of Coptic Christians and other religious minorities.

"Today's vote is a win for all veterans, especially those living in and around the Tampa Bay area," said Bilirakis. "This legislation will not only increase veterans' access to quality care, but also make it more convenient for veterans to receive the care they need. In Pasco County alone, this bill will enable the five existing clinics that are strained and spread out across the Tampa Bay area to consolidate into a convenient, one-stop facility that will serve all veterans' medical needs. I urge my colleagues in the Senate to take swift action in passing H.R.
"The U.S. Embassy to the Holy See is an important diplomatic mission between the United States and the Vatican, which represents more than 1 billion Catholics worldwide," said Bilirakis. "While diplomatic security is of the utmost importance, I urge the State Department to examine every effort to keep the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See in its own, distinct property."

"I am very concerned about the details of the agreement," said Bilirakis. "Iran's hostile and aggressive regime affects not only the stability of the Middle East, but also the entire world. Iran's track record suggests that it will continue to pursue a nuclear weapon. Wishful thinking is not a good base for sound foreign policy, and we have no reason to trust Iran now, especially considering its ability to put those weapons in the hands of terrorists, like Hezbollah, Al Qaeda and Hamas."
"The 27 leases approved by this legislation will allow the VA to better serve our nation's heroes throughout the country," said Bilirakis. "In Pasco County, we are especially grateful, as the consolidation of our medical clinics into one property will ease veterans' access to healthcare and create a one-stop shop to better address their needs. I look forward to working with my colleagues in both the House and the Senate to see this legislation become law as quickly as possible."
