Washington, DC: Earlier this week, Members of the House Energy & Commerce Health Subcommittee reviewed and passed 19 bills to promote public health initiatives and improve patient outcomes.  One of those bills approved was the Congenital Heart Futures Reauthorization Act of 2024 by Congressman Gus Bilirakis.

Washington, DC:  U.S. Congressman Gus Bilirakis (FL-12) proudly joined Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) and other colleagues in introducing legislation to declare the crisis at the southern border an invasion.  This legislation is designed to help bolster the legal arguments of states in federal court who are seeking recourse against the federal government for the Biden Administration’s utter failure to protect Americans by enforcing the rule of law.

Washington, DC:  Earlier today Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) introduced the Preserving Access to Patient Reimbursement Act in the United States Senate.  This bipartisan bill is a companion to the House Bill introduced by Representatives Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) and Chris Pappas (D-NH) in the House earlier this year in response to an uptick in constituent complaints and casework from Veterans in his district who are experiencing difficulty getting travel reimbursements processed since the U.S.

WASHINGTON – This week, U.S. Representatives Gus Bilirakis (R-FL), Anna Eshoo (D-CA), Michael McCaul (R-TX), Lori Trahan (D-MA), Michael Burgess (R-TX), and Nanette Barragán (D-CA). introduced the Creating Hope Reauthorization Act of 2024.  This important legislation will reauthorize the Creating Hope Act of 2011, which expanded the FDA priority review voucher program to incentivize pharmaceutical companies to develop new drugs for children with rare pediatric diseases.
