Washington, DC: Earlier today, two important bills authored by Congressman Gus Bilirakis, the Data Mapping to Save Moms' Lives Act and the Spectrum Coordination Act, passed favorably out of the U.S. House of Representatives. So far this term, eight Bilirakis-authored bills have been signed into law, with eight more (including the two today) passing out of the House and currently awaiting final action in the Senate.

On Thursday, the House advanced H.R. 2029, the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act. This legislation makes permanent over 20 tax relief provisions and extends a number of other tax relief provisions that expired in 2014.
