Congressman Gus Bilirakis (FL-12), along with Representatives Jason Smith (MO), John Lewis (GA), Kurt Schrader (OR), and Tom Marino (PA) today introduced legislation to help patients with End Stage Renal Disease, or ESRD.

H.R. 5659, the Expanding Seniors Receiving Dialysis' Choice Act of 2016, or ESRD Choice Act, will remove restrictions preventing ESRD patients from receiving the care they need.

Congressman Gus Bilirakis (FL-12) released the following statement regarding the FBI recommendation Secretary Clinton not be prosecuted:

"The FBI's decision is disappointing, but not surprising. During her time as Secretary of State, Clinton failed to follow simple rules and protocols that ultimately put Americans and our national security at risk. There is no doubt her actions were unfit for the level of leadership her role entailed and I believe our nation deserves better from its leaders."

My family and I celebrated my son's high school graduation this month. I am so proud of all our recent graduates, including Manuel. You all have worked so hard and I cannot wait to see your future successes. Congrats to the class of 2016.

Our veterans sit at the top of my priority list. As vice chair of the Veterans' Affairs Committee, I have worked on legislative initiatives to support them and help them as they transition to civilian life.
